Another V&A inspired design

Now that I'm all Illustratored-out, think I'll go back to some good old-fashioned gouache and collage... )

Inspired by Chinese Robes exhibition at the V&A

I loved the V&A exhibition - it was the best thing I've seen in ages and was truly inspiring. I particulary liked some of the border patterns which were embroidered or woven. This pattern is my interpretation of some of the patterns, all mashed up and tweaked together... The colour palette is a very old one, from my degree collection!
